Our knowledgeable doctors of optometry and friendly staff are dedicated to helping you and your family with all of your eye health and vision care needs. Our doctors are trained to diagnose and treat many eye diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. Our examinations include retinal screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure, and other systemic health conditions.
Our comprehensive eye exams include detailed testing, analysis, and consultation to best serve your visual needs. Our Optometric assistants will complete preliminary testing including computer-assisted measurement of refractive error, automated peripheral visual field, color and depth perception testing. Your medical and vision history information along with the results from visual acuity testing will be stored in your electronic medical records and analyzed by the doctor. The doctor will check eye posture, movement, focus and complete a thorough microscopic health exam of the cornea, iris, lens, vitreous and retina. After reviewing the findings with you the doctor can explain the treatment plan customized for your unique visual system.
Our doctors examine infants and children of all ages. Developmental vision exams are also available which test visual skills involved with eye movements, eye focusing, flexibility, accuracy, eye teaming and alignment. Screening tests can also be performed to analyze basic perceptual skills.
LASIK and other refractive surgery examinations and consultations services are available for those interested in permanent vision correction. Medical treatment is provided for eye infections, injuries, allergies, dry eyes and glaucoma.
Contact lenses of all types are available from daily disposables, torics, colors, extended wear, gas permeable and bifocals.

Myopia is an eye condition where objects that are close to you are clear, yet, objects far away are blurry. This condition is a direct result of the eye being slightly long.
Myopia can happen to children and adults. Research has shown that there are ways to prevent the progression of myopia, and the younger the person is, the better our treatment process will work. There are three treatment options for controlling myopia;
- Soft multifocal contact lenses
Atropine can slow myopia, without significant mydriasis and cycloplegia. It is available in a low dosage through a compounding pharmacy.
Soft multifocal contact lenses will slow the progression of nearsightedness and provide an effective treatment option. Children that wear multifocal lenses notice twenty-five percent less myopia progression and thirty-one percent less elongation than those wearing single-vision lenses over a period of two years.
Orthokeratology, also called corneal reshaping, is used to temporarily reshape the contour of the cornea and reduce myopia. During the treatment, you will need to wear gas permeable contact lenses at night only, which will result in better vision during the day without the corrective lenses.
If the procedure works, patients will be able to see clearly without wearing contacts or eyeglasses. It is really important for patients to wear the special lenses at night to keep their vision as clear as possible. Unlike refractive surgery, Orthokerotology is reversible once the lenses are no longer worn.
Scleral Contact lens
Scleral contact lenses are often used for people who are unable to use traditional contact lenses. There are plenty of eye conditions where traditional lenses simply won’t work.
Scleral lenses get their name because they cover the whole eye instead of just a portion of the cornea. They rest on the sclera (the white part of your eye). Since they are much larger than traditional lenses, they are more stable on eyes and don’t get dislodged easily.
Scleral lenses are also more comfortable—once you put them in! For this reason, they can also be used on sensitive eyes or irregularly shaped corneas. Scleral lenses can also be used by people who suffer from dry eyes.
Scleral lenses can be more expensive than traditional lenses because they are custom-made to fit your eyes. It takes special tools and imaging devices to measure your eyes and order your lenses. Vision insurance can help with these extra costs, and we will be happy to discuss payments at your visit.
We are dedicated to the health of your eyes. We work with patients of all ages and are happy to answer any questions. Our practice has all of the latest technology to ensure that you receive the best treatment possible.
