Our team of dedicated eye health professionals are here to serve you. We combine extensive knowledge in the field of optometry with a passion for helping people solve their vision problems. It is our goal to create a friendly and professional atmosphere that you can rely on for all of your eye health needs.

Dr. Luke

Dr. Luke has been part of the Eye & Vision Care team since 2002. During graduate school at UC Berkeley he developed an interest in Specialty Contact Lenses and Ocular Surface Disease at several hospital based internships. He is an invited speaker on these and other topics.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Corby, and their three children. He has been awarded the Young Optometrist of the Year in 2005 and has served as President to the Tri-County Optometric Society. Dr. Luke is also a Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Corby

Dr. Corby completed her doctoral training at the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 2002 and has been practicing in Santa Barbara ever since. She has volunteered and organized several philanthropic eye care health and science fairs in the community and with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity). Dr. Corby provides family eye care, ocular disease treatment, infant and children eye exams, specialty contact lens fittings and vision therapy. Dr. Corby stays current with her training and has recently become a board certified Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry. In her leisure, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and loves being a mom to her three children.

Dr. Nomura

Dr. Nomura has built his practice on dedication to his patients and to the community. After graduating from U.C. Berkeley in 1975 with a degree in Neurobiology, Dr. Nomura went on to earn his doctorate from U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry in 1979. In his continuing education, Dr. Nomura has completed extensive training certifying him in ocular therapeutics. Dr. Nomura was recently awarded Optometrist of the Year by the Santa Barbara Independent. Dr. Nomura and his wife have a son and daughter, now both college students.

Dr. Woods

Dr. Woods has been involved in eye care in Santa Barbara County for over 15 years. Dr. Woods earned her doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry in 1980 and practiced in the Midwest shortly before moving to Santa Barbara County. Dr. Woods has continued her training and is certified to treat eye disease and infection with appropriate medication.

Dr. Kleen

Dr. Steve Kleen Joined Eye & Vision Care after graduating from Southern California College of Optometry in 2015. Prior pursuing a career in eye care, Dr. Kleen played five seasons of professional baseball with the Oakland Athletics. His interests include sports vision, vision therapy, InfantSEE exams, and ocular disease treatment and management. Dr Kleen was recently honored with the Practice Excellence Award by VSP for his commitment to practice optometry. When Dr. Kleen is not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, and biking.

Dr. Gerald Groff:

Although retired Jerry Groff plays an active role in the community. Dr. Groff’s extensive career bridged generations. As a Goleta optometrist over the last 40 years he has cared for the eyes of many of the residents of the area. Dr. Groff attended Pacific University College of Optometry then served in the Army as an optometrist in France for 4 years. He is a native of Tacoma, Washington. He has been active in the community serving as the President of the Goleta Lions club.

Dr. See

Dr. Diane See is a native Californian who is happy to be back in Santa Barbara. After Dr. See earned her doctoral degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry, she was in private practice in Idaho and South Carolina and taught as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Tabuk Faculty of Medicine in Saudi Arabia. She enjoys providing full scope vision and ocular health care for her patients. In her free time, she appreciates traveling and cross-cultural interaction and relaxing with her husband and two adult children.
